GUIDED BIRD WALK
By Keith Martin at 9.30am, Saturday May 21st from Chiswick Pier House

Would you like to know more about identifying birds and, in particular, the river wildlife around Chiswick Pier?

Keith Martin can show you how to get to know birds through a variety of ways such as how they move and sound.

Many of us stroll along the river without always knowing what we are looking at:. The aim of this event is to help us start thinking like a birdwatcher.

The walk will go from the Pier House downstream, across Hammersmith Bridge, upriver to the Leg O’Mutton Reservoir opposite the Pier, back across Barnes Railway Bridge and downstream to the Pier. All are welcome, but you must be able to walk for up to three hours.

The event will go ahead whatever the weather and if you have binoculars, please bring them.

Group size is limited to 25, so booking is essential. You can get tickets from the Pier House or by applying in writing enclosing a cheque made out to Chiswick Pier Trust. The event is free to members of the Chiswick Pier Trust or £3 for non-members

Tickets £30.00. Call 020 8742 2713 or 07594 596729 to book your tickets.
