Malcolm works with the Thames Traditional Rowing Association, is a Director of the Thames Alive team and also happens to be a five times World Record holder for distance rowing, with three set on the Thames.

From the 300 man powered boats participating in the Diamond Jubilee Pageant flotilla, to this year’s Magna Carta celebrations on the river and the final day of the Olympic torch relay in 2012, Malcolm has been central to the organisation of some of our most prestigious, recent heritage boating events. He arranges events with historic boats such as the Queen's Row Barge 'Gloriana' and acts as an adviser to the film and television industry on all things nautical.

Come and hear Malcolm talk and answer questions about his 30 years of experience with heritage boats and see some of his glorious pictures of heritage boats gracing the river.

Doors open at 7pm and the talk will start at 7.30pm. Tickets are £3, or free to members of the Chiswick Pier Trust. Refreshments will be available.

For further information on the Pier and how to get there, contact the Chiswick Pier Trust 020 8742 2713.
