December 3rd Filming the History of the Griffin Brewery - Filmmaker, David Rust.

Beside the Thames in west London lies the Griffin Brewery, an icon of the great British brewing industry and a true survivor. David Rust will show clips from a fascinating documentary he has created, charting the whole story from humble beginnings over 400 years ago, through the Victorian corporate struggles and into one of the most successful modern brewing companies. He’ll also talk about the making of the film, including his research into original archives and the colourful characters that help make Fullers what it is today. You’ll be able to purchase this definitive history on DVD (£9.99). It’ll make an excellent and unusual Christmas present and David has kindly offered to donate £2 of each sale to Chiswick Pier Trust to fund its charitable activities.
