Photograph the Thames’ spring colour with practical guidance and tuition from wildlife photographer and tutor Iain Green. Discover the seasonal specialities of the river, and how to photograph them.

A practical course, the day will begin with an introductory session inside, before heading out for a walk along this stretch of the Thames. During the day, it is hoped to photograph all aspects of life on and off the river from flora and fauna, birds and boats, to the architectural aspects of the local bridges and buildings. May is a fantastic time to get outside with a camera and enjoy the creative opportunities presented by the Thames’ in the Spring

The course is suitable for beginner and intermediate photographers, and Iain's tuition will be tailored to suit. Small course numbers will enable plenty of time for one-to-one tuition. Tea and coffee will be served on arrival –bring a packed lunch, and your camera.

The course runs from 10am to 2pm on 19 May starting at Chiswick Pier House. There are 10 places and they each cost £40. Call 020 8742 2713 to book.

For further information on the Pier and how to get there, contact the Chiswick Pier Trust 020 8742 2713, follow them on Twitter @ChiswickPier or visit the Chiswick Pier Trust website.
