West London Sinfonia will be playing at the beautiful church of St Michael & All Angels for a their first concert of 2011.

The programme features an unusual work for four solo horns by Schumann to be played by the our four popular regular horn players who will at last get a chance to stand out front rather than in the body of the orchestra!

A piece by the distinguished Scottish composer James MacMillan (b1959) will be introduced by conductor Philip Hesketh and the concert finishes with Mendelssohn's "Italian” symphony which he wrote after a very happy visit to Italy.
