Led by local resident Mitra Alam, and supported by Turnham Green Councillor Ron Mushiso, the community is going to come together again to tidy up and preserve Chiswick Back Common.

The project seeks to build on the success of the clean-up of Turnham Green and generate the same sense of civic pride in our local green spaces.

The work starts at 2pm and lasts for an hour followed by a kick about on the common.

Cllr Mushiso said, “We had an amazing turn out on the 27th January, with friends and families alike attending. This time around, we are hoping that more residents can come out to help us, and enjoy a follow up game of community football on the green after the tidy up, with refreshments and facilities provided by the Rocks Lane centre to show their thanks to the community for your support.”

If you are a resident living near to, or a user of the Common or Rocks Lane, your help this weekend to support this local initiative would be appreciated.
