Centre provides music tuition to children and adults around Chiswick
Chiswick Saturday Music Centre (CSMC) is a registered charity (No. 1017022) that meets every Saturday morning during school term times at Chiswick School.
Their aim is to provide music tuition and the chance to perform solo or as part of one of their groups to children and adults from the Chiswick area.
They are entirely run by volunteers and employ ten music teachers who between them teach singing and a variety of instruments including guitar, bass, percussion, saxophone, clarinet, flute and piano.
Their new term starts on 21st September 2013 and they are always on the lookout for new students to begin learning and playing their chosen instrument, or to take their existing talents to a new level.
CSMC has two concerts a year – one in December and another in July where anyone can come to see students in action, but at present they are particularly keen to attract new students to join them for the Autumn term.
The Chiswick Saturday Music Centre is held on Saturday mornings at Chiswick Community School, Burlington Lane W4.
