Dukes Meadows has announced that it is reopening the food market on Sunday 14 June. The first month’s proceeds from running the market will be donated to Chiswick School’s breakfast club.

The market will be open from 10am to 2pm.

To manage numbers in the market to maintain social distancing, people may be asked to queue 2 metres apart at the entrance, and at stalls.

There will be just one entrance to the market from Alexandra Gardens and all stallholders will only accept card payments.
There will be no seating available in the market and the public toilets will be closed.

Paul Davis, Chair of Dukes Meadows Trust, which organises the market said; “All our regular stalls will be back selling; vegetables, fruit and juices, cheese, meat, bread, raw milk products and baked goods, plus some takeaway food, so our customers will be able to buy the foods they have been missing out on. Our farmers and producers are looking forward to coming back to Chiswick and seeing people again.

Dukes Meadows Trust is a community based charity that works to improve and maintain Dukes Meadows Park. The Food Market Chiswick is one of the charity’s social enterprises.
