Saturday 20th June saw the fourth annual groveSTOCK music festival and a new contest for adult performers, Chiswick's Got Talent.

Chiswick's Got Talent (performers aged 16 and over) following a lively preliminary round, the final took place before an enthusiastic crowd at groveSTOCK.

The winners were Eskimo Sunday, a talented group of four local boys from Latymer school (pictured right with Maria Kempinska owner of Jongleurs and Lock-Out Music).

More than 60 children from 16 local schools entered the groveFACTOR (under 16s) talent contest. The results were:

  • winner - most outstanding performance and the groveSTOCK Cup 13 year-old singer, Phoebe Harris from Chiswick Community School singing 'If I aint got you'.
  • winner - best band JOCA, a four-piece band from Christ's School, Richmond
  • most talented singer - Meg Dixon
  • most promising singers - La Vie, a group of six girls.
  • winner - most talented musician - Sophie Simonds, playing the saxophone
  • winner - most promising musician - Louis Pullen-Freilich, playing the saxophone.
