London Wildlife Trust’s Gunnersbury Triangle Nature Reserve (on Bollo Lane opposite Chiswick Park tube) is hoping to receive a grant from Hounslow Council to help manage the reserve better.

The funding comes from the developers of land round the site as compensation for the impact of development.

To release this funding, and to make sure the improvements are in line with local residents wishes, London Wildlife Trust needs as much local input as possible in time for a council meeting in mid July. It's aiming to do this by getting people to fill in a short survey saying how they would like the site to be improved.

The grant will enable much needed development at the site and ensure the long term future of this locally important and unusual nature reserve and make a huge difference to the educational facilities there. The site is already widely used by schools in the borough but much more could be offered.

Anyone wanting to get involved should email gtnaturesurvey@gmail.com and a form will be sent to them or there are forms available at the reserve. Forms can be mailed back to this address or dropped off at the postbox outside the reserve itself.
