A free foray into the weird and wonderful world of fungi on Sunday, 23 October from 2:00pm - 3:30pm.

Seek out the fungi of Gunnersbury Triangle with help from London Wildlife Trust.

Volunteers will lead a tour and introduce visitors to the various fungi that can be found at the reserve, an open space penned in by railway tracks that has grown wild and is now a thriving habitat for London's nature.

The fungal foray will be led by Alick Henrici, a local expert. He is likely to be able to find species such as dead man’s fingers, King Alfred’s cake, and clouded funnel fungi, and may be able to show you more!

There is no need to book for this free event, just show up at the entrance to the Triangle (opposite Chiswick Park Tube Station) at the 2pm start time. Although this tour is not designed with children in mind, they are welcome to join in.

They may be able to accommodate people with limited mobility - please contact them first. Unfortunately no dogs are allowed, except guide dogs.
