A launch event is taking place this week for a new group which aims to give residents a voice in what happens in Havard Hill Park.

Everyone interested is welcome to come to St Michaels Church, Elmwood Road, W4 3DZ on 5 April at 8pm

There will be a short talk by local historian Val Bott about the history of Harvard Hill followed by a short introduction to the group, chance to register and talk about potential projects. There will be refreshments available

This group has newly formed, following the Abundance project of tree and hedge planting in Harvard Hill. It is a group of local residents who use and enjoy the park and want to improve the park for all. They have set up social media accounts and their email is friendsofharvardhill@gmail.com

The aims include encouraging more wildlife and nature into the park, developing educational aspects for local children/ adults in the park and to create a new social group for people to participate in with social events and activities. They plan to explore ways of improving the park including a mural on the A4 wall and an ivy curtain to provide a barrier to pollution.

If you are unable to make the meeting but are keen to register then please contact us on the email friendsofharvardhill@gmail.com.
