The Chiswick House Kitchen Garden is holding an open day on 9th June as part of Open Garden Squares Weekend between 10am and 5pm.

There will be tours of the restored Walled Gardens at 11am and 2pm.

Over 200 hidden, secret and little-known gardens across London are opening to the public on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 June. Other locations in the area taking part in the scheme include Emery Walker's House, John Betts Garden and The William Morris Society in Hammersmith

Gardens are located across 27 London boroughs and range from the historic and traditional to the new and experimental, including private gardens, roof gardens, community allotments, urban wildlife and ecology centres, as well as gardens belonging to historic buildings, institutions, restaurants, schools and shops.

The Weekend is presented in association with The National Trust which is helping to   make the city's hidden green spaces accessible to as many people as possible.

Many gardens taking part in Open Garden Squares Weekend host family-friendly entertainment, art activities, live music and plant swops as well as food and drink events.

One ticket gains access to all Open Garden Squares Weekend gardens for both Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 June. An advance weekend ticket is just £10 (including fees/p&p) available from www.opensquares.org . A ticket bought over the weekend itself is £12. National Trust Members go half price. Children under 12 go free.
