Lu Pradere is launching a music workshop in Chiswick, playing West African rhythms on drums.

For over 20 years Lu has been playing, teaching and performing traditional Mandingue rhythms, having learnt in The Gambia, West Africa. Previously workshops have been run in venues across London, including in Hammersmith and Camden.

The workshops offer music in groups, allowing a chance to meet new people. The music is open to everyone, and suitable for all; no musical experience is required, and anybody with an interest is welcome.

He is also interested in setting up community music projects in Chiswick with local artists, including musicians, performers and dancers.

The workshops are taking place at the arches on the Chiswick side Kew Bridge.
