Macmillan Cancer Relief are calling on coffee lovers to join the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning and help make a difference to the lives of people living with cancer.

Held on 29th September, the coffee mornings are fun and easy to take part in. All you need to do is make lots of coffee and invite friends, family, colleagues and neighbours to join you and make a donation for the coffee they drink!

If you are unable to hold your own coffee morning, you can either join in at the Catholic Centre on Dukes Avenue, Chiswick, visit Annie's Restaurant in Chiswick or Barnes from 10am to 12 noon to be tempted with complimentary chocolate brownies whilst indulging in a caffeine hit (they will also be donating 50p per cup to MacMillan Cancer Relief) or use the postcode search here to find a coffee morning near you to support.

Anne Keen MP is pledging her support by urging her constituents to participate saying " I am calling on you, your friends, family and colleagues to join me and get together for a coffee for Macmillan Cancer Support’s 2006 World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.  I am planning on raising my cup in support and would urge you to take part. It is a fantastic event that is open to everyone - have one in your workplace, home or school.

I want to encourage everyone in my constituency to take part in World’s Biggest Coffee Morning because it is fun and simple way to show your support for Macmillan Cancer Relief and help raise a much needed £7 million across the UK for people affected by cancer."

Taking part in World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is simple. Call the hotline on 0845 602 1246 or log on to www.macmillan.org.uk/coffee to find out more.
