The first annual Fauconberg Octoberfest was a fantastic success. Hosted by the traders of Fauconberg Road on Saturday, 15th October, the event featured children’s entertainment, the live band Rebel Yell, and food and drink at great prices.

A beautiful sunny day set the tone for a fun, relaxing day in Fauconberg Road, which was closed to traffic for the event, for over 800 attendees.

Fuller Smith & Turner Plc and Porsche Centre West London provided exciting grand prizes for the raffle, and the proceeds from the raffle were split equally between the three local primary schools (Grove Park, Strand on the Green, and Cavendish), and Fauconberg Octoberfest 2006.

If last Saturday is anything to go by, than this annual event will become a key diary date for all Grove Park residents and traders in the future!

The organisers also wish to thank the sponsors for this event, for without their support it could not have taken place. A big thank you to: Fuller Smith & Turner Plc, Porsche Centre West London, Featherstone Leigh, Westside Magazine, Andrew Nunn & Associates, Bellengers, River Homes and Economic Moves.
