A black tie dinner with dancing until midnight is to be held to raise funds for a number of local charities.

The Parish of Our Lady of Grace and St Edward on Chiswick High Road has this year organised the event as their main fundraising effort due to the Chiswick Summer Fair not taking place.

It will be at the function room at the Dukes Meadows Golf Club, W4 2SH on Friday 2 October from 7.30pm to Midnight.

There will be a live band, live auction and a silent auction, treasure map, photo booth and raffle. Anthea Craigmyle has kindly donated a painting to the auction and David Holmes, who designed this year’s Christmas stamp has also donated several pieces of artwork.

Monies raised from the evening will be donated to Emmaus House, The Shelter Project Hounslow, The Foodbank Hammersmith and Fulham and the Doorstep Library.

Tickets cost £50 and include a welcome drink, 3 course meal with wine
