The Chiswick Charity Gala night held earlier this month has raised over £19,000 for a selection of local charities.

The black tie dinner with dancing until midnight was the main fundraising event for the of Our Lady of Grace and St Edward on Chiswick High Road has this year due to the Chiswick Summer Fair not taking place.

It was held at the function room at the Dukes Meadows Golf Club on Friday 2 October.

There was a live band, live auction and a silent auction, treasure map, photo booth and raffle. Anthea Craigmyle kindly donated a painting to the auction and David Holmes, who designed this year’s Christmas stamp donated several pieces of artwork.

The money raised from the evening will be donated to Emmaus House, The Shelter Project Hounslow, The Foodbank Hammersmith & Fulham and the Doorstep Library.

The Chiswick Charity Gala Night Committee would like to thank all those who contributed to the evening's success.

Tickets cost £50 and include a welcome drink, 3 course meal with wine
