Joanna Gosling To Swap News Desk For Sports Commentary

As she oversees Tug of War competition at Chiswick Summer Fair

The Chiswick Summer Fair is very pleased to welcome Joanna Gosling when she will swap her BBC news desk to make her debut as a sports commentator for the Tug of War on Saturday 10th July.

Journalist and BBC news presenter Joanna lives in Chiswick with her husband and children.

Commenting on the Fair, Joanna said, “We are spoilt in Chiswick by so many well organised free community events. Summer fairs are one of the joys of summer and I'm very happy to be able to help.”

“I've been studying the rules and look forward to seeing Chiswick's athletes in action,” she added.

The Chiswick Summer Fair has become one of the most popular family social events in the calendar and is exceptional in that it gives 100% of its profits to local charities.  The event has been running in its current form for 5 years and has now distributed a total of £59,000 to local charities.
