Vivien Cantor is to open her ¼ acre garden at 40a Hazeldene Road, W4 3JD as part of the National Garden Scheme (NGS) open days scheme on 7 May from 2pm-5.30pm.

Vivien has created an informal, romantic garden with mature flowering trees, shrubs and imaginative planting in flowing herbaceous borders. There are climbers, ferns and water features with ponds, a bridge and a waterfall in this ever evolving garden.

May is a time of year when many of the rare shrubs and Spring Ferns in the garden are at their best, so don’t miss out on a visit to this prime location.

Besides being an amazing garden Vivien’s cakes never fail to impress so come along for an inspiring afternoon and support a good cause.

Homemade teas and plants will be on sale. Admission is £5 with children allowed in free.

The National Garden Scheme is the most significant charitable funder of nursing charities in the country, donating over £50 million so far. They help garden owners open their beautiful gardens to the public, sharing their passion and raising money through entry fees, teas and slices of cake.

Their beneficiary charities are: The Queen’s Nursing Institute, Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie, Carers Trust, Hospice UK, Perennial, Parkinson’s UK and other guest charities
