After the sell-out success of last year's festival, Oxjam Chiswick returns for its 5th anniversary, making it one of London's longest running continuous Oxjam Festivals. Oxjam Chiswick is part of a national music festival to raise money for Oxfam GB and Oxjam is their flagship event.

Oxjam Chiswick festival manager, Julian Chattin, "Due to the Rugby World Cup we are moving the festival forward a month to Saturday 19th September so we don't clash with England games during October.   We'll still have 7 fantastic venues, over 80 bands and artists playing across 17 hours!.. and one of the great aspects about having some many venues is the quality and diversity of music from Steel Bands to Rock Choirs, sublime acoustic acts to Rock n Roll. We have great Soul, Funk and Jazz acts as well as seriously good Folk and Indie bands through to Gospel choirs and even some Opera and Classical.

"We have the last few spaces available for bands, so if you would like to play and be part of the festival please visit the website to register, www.oxjamchiswick.co.uk/perform."

All Oxjam teams are run entirely by a team of dedicated Volunteers and Oxjam Chiswick came to life in 2011 and the local Chiswick and West London community has helped to raise over £55,000 in 4 years and are one of London's most successful Oxjam festivals.

If you would like to help during the festival please get in contact with Julian for more details or visit the website, www.oxjamchiswick.co.uk/getinvolved to find out more.
