Andrew Strauss speaks to over 140 guests at The Park Club

Having slaughtered the Ozzies in the Ashes, Andrew Strauss, England Opening Bat and member of The Park Club, came to wallow in the splendour and majesty of England's victory at an informal evening led by Channel 4's cricketing anchor - Simon Hughes - alias "The Analyst ".

Over 140 guests attended the evening and relished the video footage of England's tremendous victory whilst enjoying a curry and a beer.

Ashes hero Andrew Strauss gave an incredibly honest account of the build up, play and aftermath of the national squad's historic victory.

The evening also provided guests with the extraordinary opportunity to ask probing questions, get autographs and glean some of the squad's secrets to success.

Signed copies of the book 'Ashes Fever' were on sale with proceeds going to Operation Smile.
