The West London Palestine Solidarity campaign are hosting a special screening of a film about the release from prison of Israeli nuclear whistle blower Mordechai Vanunu at the Chiswick Catholic Centre. The film "Waiting by Mordechai" will be shown at 8pm on Tuesday 12th April followed by a talk by the film maker and a member of the Vanunu campaign.

This film is about the international delegation (including actress Susannah York, Jeremy Corbyn MP, Colin Breed MP, Mairaed Maguire Irish Nobel Peace laureate, and Bruce Kent vice-chair CND) that went to welcome Mordechai Vanunu on his release last year.

It gives an insight into what it was like to be a member of that delegation and the difficulties it faced in dealing with Israeli officials and with Israeli protesters opposed to the release of Vanunu.

A similar international delegation, 30-40 strong, will shortly be going to Israel to support his demand for full freedom in the lead up to April 22nd. The next few weeks will mark another crucial period in Vanunu's struggle for freedom and against the possession of nuclear weapons by Israel.
.
After the film, Jenny Morgan together with Ernest Rodker from the Vanunu Campaign will talk about Vanunu , the making of the film and Israeli reactions to his release.

Admission is free - donations at the door (for PSC & Vanunu Campaign) For more details contact pscwl@btinternet.com
