In 1747 the Moravian Church in Germany invented the Christingle: a symbolic gift for children to celebrate Advent in a festival of lights and a feast of sweets.

The newly-formed Children’s Church Council at St Michael’s (Sutton Court) is organizing this special fundraising Christingle in aid of The Children’s Society.
