Musical Comedy From St. Michael's Players
Boorskale tells the tale of three sisters widowed when bus hits darts team
The St. Michael’s Players are putting on a musical comedy, at the St. Michael's Centre, Elmwood Road.
‘Boorskale’ by Paul Ritchie Tomkinson, plays from Wednesday, June 20 – Sunday, June 24. The performance starts at 7.45pm
Directed by the acclaimed Director and Choreographer Anthony van Laast (Mamma Mia, Sister Act, Bombay Dreams, Batman Live), Boorskale is an award-winning musical comedy that follows the three Darrington sisters, who were all widowed when a double-decker ploughed into the The Cock and Whippet Inn wiping out the darts team.
The action is set in the small fictional village of Boorskale, Derbyshire. Join them as they battle with their septuagenarian lives and next door neighbour Nellie, with related foibles and triumphs. Hilariously funny, uniquely touching with wonderful tunes and starring leading West End performers, it really would be one ‘eck of a shame to miss it!
