St Michael’s Players are performing The Ladykillers, by Graham Linehan, (Father Ted) at St Michael’s Centre, Chiswick W4 3DZ Oct 5 - 8 2016..

The play is based on the 1955 black comedy film made by Ealing Studios and starring Katie Johnson, Alec Guinness, Cecil Parker, Herbert Lom, Peter Sellers, Danny Green, and Jack Warner. In case you missed that excellent film, or just need reminding what all the hype was about why not pop along and catch this production?

A top cast of:
• Constable MacDonald - Andrew Lawston
• Professor Marcus – Alastair Dewar
• Mrs Louisa Wilberforce – Sue Darrieulat
• Major Courtney – Adrian Ellis
• Harry Robinson – Jon Holmes
• One-Round – George Atkinson
• Louis Harvey – Harry Doyle
• Mrs Jane Tromleyton – Robin Eastwood

A sweet little old lady, alone in her house, is pitted against a gang of criminal misfits who will stop at nothing to pull off the heist of their lives. Posing as amateur musicians, Professor Marcus and his criminal gang rent rooms in the lopsided house of the sweet but strict Mrs Wilberforce. The villains plot to involve her, unwittingly, in Marcus' brilliantly conceived heist job but Mrs Wilberforce becomes wise to their ruse and Marcus concludes that there is only one way to keep the old lady quiet. With only her parrot, General Gordon, Mrs Wilberforce is trapped alone with five desperate men. Who will be forced to face the music?

Only one way to find out....
