This year come and experience all the fun and feel of the seaside at Strand-on-the-Green Infant and Junior Schools Summer Fair on Saturday 13th June.

Grab your 'Kiss me Quick' Strand sunhats, your buckets and spades and enjoy all the trappings of the beach right on your doorstep.

There will be a raft of yummy food on sale with Strand's very own Rock, popcorn and of course strawberries and ice-cream. The BBQ will be sizzling and the smell of delicious Thai curry will be wafting through the air.

No summer fair would be complete without Punch and Judy - 'oh no it wouldn't' - showing throughout the day. Make a funny face by putting your own face through the painted boards and give your friends a laugh.

To keep the kids busy there's a fantastic inflatable slide and for those who want to battle it out there are inflatable gladiators armed with plastic spears.
Show off your footy skills to beat the goalie in the playground or head for the sandpits and build your very own Strand sandcastle.

Try your luck on the hoopla stand and the hook a duck before having a go at this years tombolo. Ahoy all you would-be pirates for the Strand Treasure Hunt - be ready to follow the clues and find the loot.

For even bigger prizes buy up the tickets for the Summer Fair Raffle.

The lucky winners could sail away on a weekend break courtesy of Kew Green Hotels, enjoy a Mum's pamper night for 6 at the Chiswick Salon or dress up to the nines with a 100 pound voucher for Chiswick's Benetton or Sisley.

There'll be face painting and a model railway and a whole variety of other stalls to buy your summer treats.

Entry is just £1 for adults and children over 12 and free for those under 12.

Tthe Fair is open from 11am until 3pm and bring the sunshine with you!
