Recently reformed girl band All Saints are to headline one of the days at Summer Sessions a four day music festival taking place in Chiswick House Gardens this June.

They will be top of the bill on the Music in the Gardens event on Saturday 18 June taking to the stage at around 9pm. A number of support acts yet to be announced will be joining them.

The group have sold over twelve million records and reached the height of their popularity in the nineties. They have had five number ones in the UK and their single 'Never Ever' is the highest ever selling song by a girl band apart from the Spice Girls' 'Wannabe'. Their comeback album Red Flag recently went straight into the UK chart at number three .

The new four day event from 15 to 19 June has a little something for everyone from a special night of jazz, to opera, pop-rock and a fun family day out. The idyllic gardens will play host to an open-air stage in front of which guests are encouraged to relax with a picnic and enjoy the wide range of entertainment.

The first two days (Wednesday 15 June and Thursday 16 June) will see Opera in the Gardens with two performances of much-loved Opera classic, Tosca by Puccini. Described by Joseph Kerman as a “shabby little shocker,” Tosca is the timeless story of love, murder and deception with a dramatic finale that will stay with the audience long after the final curtain.

The cast is made up of opera stars from companies across the UK, including award-winning lyric coloratura soprano Jassy Husk, who takes on the title role of Tosca. Also joining the cast is globally recognised tenor and Britain’s Got Talent winner Paul Potts. In a world-first, Paul will deviate from his usual classical ballads to introduce opera to his performance. The show will open the Summer Sessions schedule, with two shows running over the evenings of Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16.

Once the kids have been sent home to bed there will be Ronnie Scott’s Evening of Jazz when legendary jazz club Ronnie Scott’s will take over with a selection of the best live jazz vocalists and musicians. In 1959, legendary saxophonist Ronnie Scott opened the doors to a small basement club in London’s Soho where local musicians could gather to jam. Now regarded as one of the finest jazz clubs in the world, Ronnie Scott’s will be transported to Chiswick House & Gardens for one night. The Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra will lead the evening, joined by a number of special guests including jazz trumpeter, arranger and composer Guy Barker, and guest vocals from Georgie Fame, Claire Martin OBE, and Vanessa Haynes.
