Meet the Teaspoons by Nick Bromley, inspired by Lotte Moore's book The Teaspoon Family will be playing at The Tabard Theatre from 8 August - 26 August.

This is the second play that Nick Bromley has worked on with Lotte Moore after having adapted A Childs War earlier this year.

Meet Hector, May, and their children Sylva, Sippie and Baby Cappy Teaspoon. When the cooking is over, the Teaspoons will step out of their drawer to play. Tomorrow is Mr Baker’s Birthday and a surprise Cake is ready in the fridge. But will the party be ruined by their naughty, hungry next drawer neighbours, the Knives?

Lizzie Burder plays Sylva and has just graduated from the American Musical Theatre Academy. Her credits whilst training include Sister Mary Patrick in Sister Act, Calandra in the original cast of Stretched, Mrs Potts in Beauty and the Beast, Isabelle in Amour and understudy Matilda in Matilda.

Charlie Culkin plays Mrs. Teaspoon and has graduated from the MTA in September 2016. Her credits whilst training include Welcome to Thebes, Sunshine on Leith and Around the World in 80 Days. She also performed in many concerts in London and the surroundings including the West End Women tour, the Mad Trust Christmas concert and the Old Vic Gala.

Luke Drewell plays Charlie Croissant and has graduated from the University of Chichester with a First Class BA Hons in Musical Theatre. His theatre credits include Hotel Transylvania (International), Dear Zoo Live (National UK Tour), Santa's Invitation (DUCTAC Theatre, Dubai), Alice in Wonderland (Spain) and Aladdin (East Midlands Tour). For film, his credits include Echoes, Dead Heading, The River; and for television, Butterfly Beat and very soon Planet Blue an animated American kids show.

Thomas Lawson plays Blunt and Sippie and graduated from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, finishing his last year as the lead in Market Boy by David Eldridge. His credits include Sarah and Ducks Big Top Birthday, Gulliver’s Travels, Franky, King Arthur, Twelfth Night, Jane Eyre, Swiss Family Robinson, The Adventure of Tom Sawyer, Les Mis, Peter Pan, We Were Kings and Citizen Puppet.

Christopher Whitmore plays Sharp and has started his career out of the University of Kent in Brighton Fringe works with the theatre company Unmasked Theatre. From there he went on a European tour with the English Theatre Company playing various roles in schools and theatres across the country. His credits include Alice in Wonderland, Writers Bloc, The Wind in the Willows (Image Musical Theatre, UK tour).
