Make&Bake present a double bill of rarely performed one-act plays by two of the 20th century’s greatest playwrights:
Blind Date by Horton Foote and 27 Wagons Full of Cotton by Tennessee Williams. The play runs from 25 Oct-13 Nov at Riverside Studios.

Presenting the European premiere of the Oscar and Pulitzer Prize-winning Foote alongside Williams in his centenary year - each play offers a very different take on the American idea of the ' good neighbour ' policy. The cast members are; Ross Ericson; Francesca Fenech; Sebastian Knapp; Louise Templeton

The co-directors are Zoe Ingenhaag , Producer at the Tricycle Theatre and co-founder of Make&Bake , and Suresh Patel .Suresh studied at Cambridge and is a Tutor in Acting at Identity Drama School, and a visiting Lecturer at Birmingham University.

Make&Bake produces theatre which challenges the conventional through collaboration and cake sales. This June they produced Lola Stephenson’s NIMBY at the Old Red Lion, described by Michael Billington of the Guardian as" a highly promising first play that confirms that, in the new writing stakes, it is currently women who are making the running."
