Sir Peter Blake will be opening an artaid Tsunami fundraising event at Chiswick Town Hall at 11.30am this Sunday.

For artaid you paint or draw on an A4 canvas board or paper in return for your £5 donation to the DEC fund . All ages and abilities are welcome.

You don't have to be artistic to join in - just come along and do a handprint.

This is the first artaid event of it's kind. It has been put together by local artist Susan Forsyth, a Chiswick friend Kim Huntley and a network of energetic Chiswick residents - in a record 4 days because the Main Hall is closing for renovations next week.

You can draw or paint your artwork. The paint is quick-drying acrylic - so you be can take your work
home with you. Artists from across London will be on
hand - including people from Redlees studios in Isleworth and students from Chelsea College of Art.

Please come along to paint or draw to support this local fundraising event. Chiswick businessman, John Roche of John Roche Designs has generously sponsored the whole event so every penny raised will go to the Tsunami relief effort. Sincere thanks also go to Sir Peter and Chrissie Blake for continuing to support local art initiatives.
