There is to be a meeting of the West Chiswick and Gunnersbury Society on Monday 17th September at 8pm at Age Concern Hall, Oxford Road North, Chiswick, which is open to all residents and members.

On the agenda will be a discussion of proposals for intensive redevelopment of Sainsbury's and its car park. The society will be considering whether the development is a good or bad thing for the community and how will it fit in to our High Road?

The society would like to invite as many people as possible to come along and discuss this and a plethora of issues, including:

  • Proposals to 'water down' the planning law.
  • The Third Runway at Heathrow and how the termination of Justine Greening MP's role as Transport Secretary will affect the situation.
  • What do residents, want in regards to Gunnersbury station? How can these plans be put into action and go about enforcing what will best benefit the surrounding area?

Come and have your say on these vital matters affecting the quality of life in the area. You are encouraged to bring your friends and neighbours.
