A free concert will be given by two prestigious local musicians at St Paul's Church, Grove Park on Sunday, 14 May at 7 pm.

John Kitchen, who has worked with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and is a former leader of the National Symphony Orchestra in Ireland, will be playing violin.

David Snell, a pianist who has also worked as a classical and jazz harpist (Royal Opera house Orchestra) will also be performing. David has conducted numerous film scores including Chocolat, Cider House Rules and Nicholas Nickleby and he is also a classical composer. His Requiem was performed in 1997 at St John's Smith Square.

The music will include a selection fromm Giuseppe Tartini, Robert Schumann, Philipp Telemann and Fritz Kriesler and there will be other pieces including David Snell's Ivor Novello Fantasy.

The concert is free with donations welcome. It will last about an hour. There will be refreshments available at the venue.
