The Green Party (Hounslow) has announced its candidates for two out of the three Chiswick wards in May's local elections. The party is putting forward six candidates, three in Riverside and three in Homefields ward. The Turnham Green ward candidates will be announced at a later date.

Voting in the local elections will take place on May 3rd.

The Greens say; "We are campaigning hard for the next Local Election in early May 2018 when the 60 seats in Hounslow council will be decided. We hope to build on our momentum and are targetting winning our first council seats.

"It is vitally important to have a Green Party councillor to speak up for environmental issues like air pollution, cycling, protecting green spaces and climate change, which are often neglected."
