Gunnersbury Baptist Church is hosting its popular annual community charity harvest event on Sunday 14th October at 5.00 pm.

The event seeks to draw the local community in the Chiswick area together to support two major charities at this time of harvest and giving. It will also be an opportunity to meet the new Pastor of Gunnersbury Baptist Church, Tim Manson.

Compassion UK - a charity that sponsors children from developing countries will have a speaker present as will Tearfund. There will be a Fair Trade shop run by 'Created' selling a large selection of goods, foods and crafts from around the world. Children will be catered for with a global craft workshop and face painting.

An 'all you can eat' BBQ has been sponsored and supplied by local butchers, Macken Bros of Turnham Green Terrace and Chiswick's 'As Nature Intended' health food store. Vegetarians are catered for as well! There will also be a wide selection of dishes from around the world.

The event is completely free, however all donations are generously encouraged and will all be given to the charities represented.
