Hogarth’s House has received grant funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund which will enable them to build a new learning centre in the garden and open up the site for learning and interpretation to visitors.

As part of the first stage of work to refurbish the garden, the house will close to the public from February 6-13 inclusive. During this time they will be removing self-seeded, diseased and overgrown trees to enable the Mulberry tree to feature and reinstating paths, planting and a nut walk.

The House will reopen to the public on February 14th with the two first floor rooms closed to allow repair work to commence following ceiling movement in one of the rooms.
