Chiswick pop star Sophie Ellis Bextor won't be dancing in the latest 'Strictly' dance competition to hit town - but it's in a good cause.

After her incredible Charleston performance on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing 2013 series, the Park Club has announced SOPHIE ELLIS BEXTOR onto the judging panel for Chiswick’s Strictly Charity 2014.

The competition, which culminates in a gala final on December 6th, is raising money for Russ Dawkins.

Chiswick-based Sophie is an international singer, songwriter, model and occasional DJ and since Strictly 2013 released her fifth studio album, Wanderlust which became her highest charting album since "Read My Lips", reaching number 4 in the UK.

SNEAKY PEEKS AT MORE STRICTLY CHARITY DANCERS

Pictured in week 3/4 of her training, Park Club member Jo Dean and Professional Dance partner Nuno Sabroso, are looking rather polished and ready to perform their CHA CHA already. Will it be them that lift the Strictly Charity Glitter Ball on Friday 6 December??? www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKjYCfXZGDI

Or could it be Julian Chattin? Hogarth member Julian has started slightly late due to organising the recent Oxjam Chiswick music event to which sincere congratulations are due to Julian his team! Undaunted by his late start, Julian has thrown himself into the spotlight for another amazing charity challenge.
