A Public Meeting to discuss Charing Cross Hospital will be held on Saturday 17 May, 12-2pm, George IV (185 Chiswick High Road, W4 2DR). The meeting is organised by the Save our Hospitals campaign group.

Save our Hospitals says it wants to have the meeting before the local and European elections to hear the views of candidates and public on what is happening to Chiswick’s nearest A&E at Charing Cross Hospital and the planned reduction in local acute health services.

Every local election candidate from the three Chiswick wards in Hounslow has been invited along with European Election candidates from each party.

There is free entry to the meeting but you are advised to arrive early. The last public meeting held at the George IV in February was standing room only.

Save Our Hospitals is a non-party political group of local people angry at what they see as the destruction of local health services.

"We will make sure everyone's view is heard at the meeting but then hope residents will use their vote to help secure the future of Charing Cross as a major acute hospital" said an organiser from the group.
