Chiswick-based Kailey Willetts is a semi-finalist in the Miss London 2016 modelling pageant but says that the most important thing is beauty with a purpose. She is aiming to raise money for St Christopher's Hospice through her participation in the event.

Miss London is a modelling pageant aimed at not only being beautiful on the outside but on the inside too, says Kailey.

"All over the country pageants are being run in the hope of making as much money as possible for a charity calling 'Beauty With A Purpose' as well as one other local charity. In my instance it is St Christopher's Hospice.

"I am running on behalf of West London as I am based in Chiswick. I have a two events taking place, One is a Night of Music at Freedom Bar Soho on the 3rd April at 8pm and 100% of all profits are going to charity.

"My campaign is strongly based on being healthy, beautiful and having confidence no matter how you look, so the other event will be a fitness morning with a date and location TBC shortly."
