Move into Wellbeing (MiW) will hold an Open Studio Day on Saturday 29 February, 3-5pm at St Peter’s Hall, Southfield Road, W4 1BB and Chiswick residents are invited to attend for free.

MiW just received news of its National Lottery Community Grant award! This was applied for specifically to offer Chiswick an open studio day to come meet the team, watch or try a class, and over refreshments, to ask questions and to learn more about their work.

Local charity Move into Wellbeing® provides four weekly dance, movement, exercise classes for people with Parkinson’s as well as other various mobility restrictions. They also work with people with ME, MS, Dyspraxia, Arthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Early Stage Dementia, and general stiffness amongst other conditions. These classes provide life enhancing exercise through dance and music, and also importantly, serve as a community hub for the attendees and their partners, carers, and friends.

MiW was founded five years ago by local long-term resident, former profession dancer, and Founder and Director of sixteen-year-old Ballet4life, Donna Schoenherr. Specially trained teachers from Ballet4Life lead the unique classes with a team of assistants and volunteers overseen and guided by Donna.

If you know of someone who might benefit from this, or you’d like to attend, email info@moveintowellbeing.org.uk to reserve a place or to find out more information. Everyone is welcome.
