Six schools in the Borough will be fully closed during the one-day strike by the National Union of Teachers (NUT) tomorrow, (Wednesday, March 28th) but none of them are in Chiswick.

Hounslow Council has released a list of schools affected by the strike, which shows that St. Mary’s Roman Catholic School is the only primary school in W4 to remain open. All the others will be partially closed including; Belmont Primary, Cavendish Primary, Grove Park Primary, Strand-on-the-Green Nursery and Infant, Strand-on-the Green Junior, and William Hogarth primary school.

The one-day strike is part of the ongoing campaign against changes to pensions by the National Union of Teachers and the strike includes its London members.

The Council has advised parents to contact schools directly for information or to look at the Council website for the full list.
