Chiswick student Oscar Dewhurst’s photograph of an owl is on display at London Zoo as part of an exhibition until February 2017.

Oscar, who is a 21-year-old Biology student and wildlife photographer, won one of the categories in the Zoological Society of London's photography competition,

Oscar has been taking photographs from a young age. A photograph he took at the London Wetland Centre, was selected for inclusion in the Veolia Environment Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2012 exhibition.

His photography takes up most of his spare time, and has taken him to so many places, ranging from the side of the A1 in London to photograph Waxwings to photographing Howler Monkeys in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon.

His images have won awards in several competitions, such as Wildlife Photographer of the Year, Asferico Photocontest, British Wildlife Photography Awards (BWPA), RSPCA Young Photographer Awards, and the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (WWT) competitions.

He also had an online gallery of Bittern photographs featured on the BBC Wildlife website, and contribute photos to the RSPB and WWT and to leading national magazines and newspapers.
