Originally conceived as a collective, the company has had much success with its productions of The Rape of Lucretia, King Roger, and Peter Grimes, Elemental Opera has been featured in the Lost &Found Festival (including a live link to the BBC’s outside Big Screen) and in the Nottingham Philharmonic’s 40th anniversary season.

The production is directed by Mark Burns with Musical Director Michael Thrift, it is sung in English to a new translation.

Tickets are £20, with £15 concessions. Performances start at 5 pm and last five hours with two intervals.

Parsifal (WWV 111) is an opera in three acts by Richard Wagner. It is loosely based on Parzival by Wolfram von Eschenbach, a 13th-century epic poem of the Arthurian knight Parzival (Percival) and his quest for the Holy Grail (12th century).
