Chiswick resident Pauline Hart has visited Number Ten Downing Street along with other community champions.

Pauline has organised the Pensioners Alone At Christmas lunch for thirty years and has been active in organising many events for the elderly including three 'Buzz' activity clubs in Chiswick.

The event was a Community Champions Reception, to recognise the commitment and contribution of people in their communities. Prime Minister David Cameron mingled with the guests and told them in a speech how proud he was of the work they did for others.

Pauline was accompanied by her daughter Leanne, and thoroughly enjoyed her visit, which started with a tour of Number Ten, and was then followed by an Afternoon Tea.

"It was lovely meeting the Prime Minister and Mary Macleod and I had a great chat with other people, all ordinary people like me doing work in the community", said Pauline.
