Phase Eight has closed its branch on Chiswick High Road.

The London-based brand sold casual clothing for women and also specialised in outfits for special occasions, including dresses for weddings and evening events, bridalwear, and accessories.

The nearest branch is now at Westfields.

Phase Eight was first established by Patsy Seddon in London in 1979 in a small boutique in Wandsworth Common. The name originated from a combination of P. Hayes, Patsy’s maiden name, and the address of the first shop, 8 Bellevue Road.

Phase Eight was purchased by the South African retailer Foschini Group in 2015, which also owns Whistles.

The store was open at 288 Chiswick High Road for several years.
