Labour's parliamentary candidate Ruth Cadbury has criticised Chiswick Business Park saying it has failed to fulfil promises over the final two buildings, Six and Seven.

Ruth is particularly concerned that the promised footbridge to link the new buildings to Chiswick Park station has not been built.

“It was a condition of Building Six being occupied that some improvements were made to Gunnersbury station,” said Ruth.

“These are not yet complete. It is a condition for Building Seven to be occupied that the footbridge is built. Following on from discussions with Marie Rabouhans of the West Chiswick and Gunnersbury Society, I raised this as an urgent matter with Hounslow Council’s planning department. They have now written to the developers reiterating that the footbridge must be built.

" I have been assured by the leaders of Ealing and Hounslow Councils, Julian Bell and Steve Curran, that the footbridge has their full support.”

Ruth Cadbury is also concerned that the outstanding cosmetic improvements to Gunnersbury station have yet to be completed and is taking this matter up as well.
