Tax lawyer Erica Scott-Young, who is Mr. Alan Bercow's second wife - the couple have a son together- was quoted in the Mail as dismissing Sally Bercow's claims that she was 'heartbroken' .

She commented; "You have to have a heart to have it broken".

'I really don't want to make any more comments to feed this woman's ego and narcissism.'

Ms Scott-Young is a well-known resident of Chiswick and works as a senior tax lawyer with a firm in the City- she has been a contributor to the chiswickw4.com forum in the past on various issues.

According to The Telegraph, Erica's mother Olive Scott-Young, 82, said of Sally: "I have no words that could describe my feelings for her. She’s certainly no lady, let’s just leave it at that."

Of her son-in-law Alan Bercow she commented: "It’s a terrible thing he has done to Erica, but the one good thing that has emerged from all this is that it has shown the world what a fine, dignified woman she is. She has shown tremendous strength at a time when she is dying inside."

Sally Bercow also told reporters that she had always hated living in Westminster. She is currently living with her children in Battersea.
