Cllr Sam Hearn

Week ending Friday 27th March 2015

This weekly diary will not be published during the official election campaign period. It will however be resumed on May 8th. The Council has scheduled very few formal meetings during this period acknowledging the fact that elected members will be heavily engaged in various party political activities. However, along with all my councillor colleagues, I am as always happy to respond to enquiries and requests from residents and to help in any way that I can.

The last Borough Council Meeting before the General Election was a lively affair with discussions extending until 11.00pm. Issues discussed ranged from the repayment of the parking finances illegally charged in Chiswick House Car Park to the state of the NHS locally. At the third attempt there was a discussion of the Labour Party’s proposal to introduce a Mansion Tax.
