Local Charity Seeks Volunteer Secretary

West London Sands is a Stillbirth and neonatal death charity

The West London Sands group, a Stillbirth and neonatal death charity, is looking for volunteer secretarial help. Just a few hours a week would be an enormous help to this very worthwhile cause.

WLS is a local charity that provides support groups for bereaved parents; they also provide financial help and training for local hospitals to improve the provision for parents who lose a baby through stillbirth, or neo-natally.

The loss of a baby is devastating and the effects of grief can be overwhelming. Parents may feel isolated, disorientated and exhausted. It can be hard to take in information, make decisions or imagine how you're going to cope. At West London Sands they understand what it's like because they are bereaved parents.

If you have some secretarial skills and a little spare time, Sands would be very glad to hear from you and explain in more detail what would be involved.
