Police have warned people to be vigilant following a number of break ins to sheds in the allotments area on Dan Mason Drive, Dukes Meadows.

Five sheds were broken into between the 1st and the 3rd of July. The offences tend to be overnight and padlocks are being cut off the sheds and tools stolen from within.

Police are seeking any information to try and identify the culprits.

The other main police operation in the Chiswick area concerns their recent operation targeting motor vehicle crime across the area, which is starting to show results.

At the beginning of June police logged between 20 - 25 offences each week but with the help of extra officers and using a variety of tactics they say they are bringing this number down.

They are running an operation in conjunction with officers from Hammersmith and Fulham to target offenders who commit crime on both of our boroughs. Criminals do not recognise borough boundaries!
